Behind the Scenes with Videos

Ever wonder how I do my videos?  I just hosted a team event all about making videos and I thought it would be fun to share a "behind the scenes" look at how I do my videos.

Here's Vicki recording her first video.  (My hubby and son made all these PVC camera stands for each participant.)

Getting everything set up and ready

The video group!  What a fun afternoon!

I really enjoy making videos and sharing my love of paper crafting with you!  I hope you enjoy watching and being inspired!

Some additional pictures (Hope this helps, Tracey, with putting together your own stand.  Let me know if you have any other questions.)  Enjoy!

  1. Hi Christi! :) I was wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of your camera stand and if you could show me a full length picture so that I could see the bottom part of it? I like this set up way better than a tripod! Thanks for sharing. ;)

  2. Tracey -
I've included a couple additional pictures of the camera stand (top and bottom) in the post above. I hope that gives you the details you need. Also the height of the stand is 5 feet but it can be made any height you prefer (based on your height and the height of the table you're working on). Let me know if there's anything else you need!

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to post the additional pictures and info. I'll pass this on to my hubby and see if he'll make me one. ;)

    2. You are very welcome! My husband works in PVC the way I work in paper! Hopefully you can figure it out from the pictures. Best of luck!

  3. Thanks for posting this! I'm guessing you are not selling these as a kit, are you? Could you tell me what you used to hold your phone/camera?

    1. Thank you for asking but, no, we are not selling these stands as a kit. We purchased a small camera tripod (like for the size of a smart phone) as well as a clamp adapter on Amazon. We took the holder off the tripod (it simply unscrews) and then screwed it on the clamp so it could attach to the PVC stand. I hope all that makes sense. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Happy stamping!
