Under the Sea Party

"It's finally November!" my daughter says.  Why is she so excited about November?  I'm thinking it's because of Thanksgiving and a break from school.  But no!  It's her birthday month and she is SO excited about her party!  She wants an Under the Sea theme and she's already started designing her birthday cards (using Stampin' Up! punches, paper and embellishments, of course!).  Isn't that a cute mermaid tale shaped card?

She used the 1 1/4" circle punch to make the "scales" from Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Pool Party card stock as well as Gold Glimmer paper.

She spent the other night in the garage putting glue on styrofoam balls and then poured glitter over the top.  These are going to be some sort of decoration / centerpiece on the table (she got the idea off Pinterest - imagine that!).  I'll share other pictures once the centerpieces are all put together.  I'm curious to see what the final result will be.

That's a lot of glitter!  Glad it was in the garage (good suggestion daddy!).

She also painted this wooden plaque that we will put on a stake of some sort to put at the front door.  It's hard to see in the picture but the blue background is all sparkly and glittery (of course!).

She is one crafty girl and I'm so thankful that she enjoys doing her own decorations.  I can just see her as a party planner when she grows up (forget when she grows up, she can party plan now!).  I'll share more pictures of the final projects she comes up with (believe me, we have a long list of things she wants to do!).
