Thoughtful Branches Bundle

The Thoughtful Branches Bundle is available for purchase during the month of August only (while supplies last!). This is such an adorable bundle and we'll be using the stamp set and the coordinating Framelits to create these two adorable cards in class this month.

Can you pick out what is wrong (or doesn't belong) on the card below? If you said the bird, you're correct! I had a little ink blog get on the flower (don't you just love it when you're finished with a card and then some little blemish gets on it? Argh.) and thought that I'd just add the bird. Then it dawned on me that birds don't usually land on hydrangea flowers. However, I think I will take off the bird and add a butterfly. I think that will be more appropriate, don't you?

Both the Thoughtful Branches cards were CASE'd from Cindy Schuster, an Artisan Desginer! Thank you, Cindy, for your inspirational and adorable cards!

If you'd like to come stamp with me in August, you'll be able to try out this bundle of products and create these adorable cards, too!

Happy Stamping,

November Stamp Class - Christmas Cards

I'm so exited to share these Christmas cards with you during November!  We'll be creating these during my monthly stamp class and I'd love for you to make them, too!  Click here to view both days and locations for this class and to RSVP.

Card #1
This first card is just too cute using the Yee Haw photopolymer stamp set!  I just love all the western images and being from Texas, I just couldn't resist making cards for my family who live out of state!

The Merry Christmas sentiment comes from the Merry Everything bundle (the bundle includes the stamp set and the punch for 15% off!).

Card #2
The second card we'll be making this month is this beautiful star card that uses the gold foil sheets and gold embossing.

I hope you'll join me for a fun evening of stamping in November!  Check out all my stamping events on my online calendar and be sure to RSVP to reserve your spot!  Happy Stamping!

Project #1 - Fall Card
All the projects this month feature products from the new Holiday Catalog!

Project #2 - Boo to You
Our second card was created using the new adorable Fall Fest Framelits Dies (for the ghosts) along with the coordinating Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper.  The "Boo to You" sentiment is from a stamp set you can get for FREE when you host a party now through October 31st.   Get all the details here.

Project #3 - Treat Box
Our third project is an adorable little treat box made with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies.  I also used the Merry Everything Stamp Set for the sentiment and punched it out using the coordinating Note Tag PunchDid you know that when you purchase the set and the punch together in a bundle, you'll receive 15% off?  Be sure to use the bundled item number to receive the savings!

I hope you'll join me in September as we play with new products from a new catalog!  Always a fun time stamping together!

New Stamp Clubs Beginning in January 2014

Are you looking for a fun way to learn new stamping techniques, try out new products, build your stamp collection a little each month and earn hostess benefits?

When you join a stamp club, you receive all these benefits and more!

Here's how the club works:
  • We meet on a monthly basis in West Fort Worth to create 2 fun projects.  You'll learn new techniques, create fun projects, try out new products (kind of a try-before-you-buy) and meet new stamping friends!
  • The club meets based on the number of members (6 club members, we meet for 6 months)
  • Each member agrees to purchase a minimum amount in product each month and once during the duration of the club, you'll be considered the hostess and earn the hostess benefits. (minimum is based on the number of club members, amount varies from $20 to $25)

A few pics from this past year's stampers:

New clubs are being formed now!

If you are interested in joining in 2014, contact me today (beckc@rocketmail.com).

Stampin' Up! Cards created by My Stamping Ladies

I really enjoy seeing the cards and projects made by my stamping ladies each month!  Today I have two more wonderful cards to share!  See if you can create a card following the challenge guidelines, too!  (You just might be  a featured stamper on my blog!)

January's card challenge:  In class we created 2 cards using the same pieces but came up with totally different looks (the pieces are cut to 4 1/4" X 2 3/4" and 4" X 2 1/2" - they layer on each other).  Their challenge was to use these same measurements on their card.

This first card was created by Kathy!  I love the way she punched through the yellow card stock to allow the green background to show through.

Paper:  Night of Navy card stock, Old Olive card stock, So Saffron card stock
Accessories:  Bird Builder Punch (117191;   $16.95), Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (121809;  $7.95)

This next card was created by Terry!  Terry used products from the Sale-a-Bration brochure!  Have you taken advantage of the amazing deals with Sale-a-Bration yet?  Sale-a-Bration is going on now through March 22nd and when it's over, these exclusive products will no longer be available.

Stamps:  Bloomin' Marvelous (129654)
Ink:  Black Staz On
Paper:  Island Indigo card stock, Sycamore Street Designer Paper, Tangerine Tango card stock
Accessories:  Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack

Thank you Terry and Kathy for sharing your cards!

Now it's your turn!  Make a card following the guidelines in the challenge above and if you send me a picture, you just might see your card as a Featured Stamper too!

I look forward to seeing your projects!
Happy Stamping!

November Class Cards

I just love Christmas and making Christmas cards!  This month for my monthly stamp classes, we will be creating two fun projects.

Wanna join the fun?  View my online calendar for the days and times that I will be teaching this class.  The cost for the two projects is $5 or FREE with any purchase of $20 or more.  (I teach classes in Ft. Worth and Azle.)

Class Project #1
This first project is a Cocoa pouch with candy cane.  Isn't it just the cutest?  I made a similar version of the treat pouch for the Stocking Stuffer class and you can view it here.  Watch the video tutorial of this project and be inspired!

With this treat pouch we will be using the Scentsational Season stamp set (one of my favorites from the Holiday catalog!).

Class Project #2
I love the look of this card!  My friend, Marilyn, created this card and I just had to share with everyone!  This card uses the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and the tree in the middle is embossed with gold embossing powder.  Love the elegant look of this card.

Happy Stamping!

September Class Cards

Howdy stampers!  The kids start school on Monday and my daughter's one request on the last day of summer vacation was to go to breakfast together.  So, we headed out this morning to Ole South Pancake House!  YUMMY!!  Of course the kids had their German Pancake and if you've never heard of it before, it's a fluffy, oven-baked pancake that they fill with butter, powdered sugar and fresh squeezed lemon juice.  It's what Ole South is known for!

Now I'm home and ready to get back to work!

Here are the cards we'll be making in September during my monthly stamp classes.  If you are interested in attending, please email me and let me know what day/time you'll be coming (all times are posted on my online calendar).

This first card you'll probably recognize from an earlier blog post.  I just love the leaves form the Wonderfall stamp set on the card!  I also have created a video tutorial on how to create the large leaf.

My friend and fellow demonstrator, Janet, shared this adorable Santa card with me and when I saw it, I knew I had to offer it during my classes!  It's just SO cute!!  Thanks Janet!  The sentiment comes from the stamp set - Just Believe.

I hope to see you in September at the stamp classes!  If you don't live near and would like to create these cards at your own online workshop, email me and we'll set a date!  I'll mail you all the supplies needed to make the two cards above.  So gather your friends and enjoy creating while earning hostess benefits!  Contact me today to get on my calendar!

Happy stamping and creating!

June Stamp Club- Fort Worth

I had the BEST time Tuesday with my Fort Worth Stamp Club! What a fabulous group of Stampin' ladies!

My intern, Carol,  REALLY got into it! She is dressed in a "Betsy's Blossoms" inspired sweater and managed to get completely inked up!

She asked if getting ink all over herself was a "newbie" thing- I said "Nope- We all wear our ink proudly! But- normally we wear it on our hands... not wrists."

Even if you don't live near me- you can still join the fun through my Online Stamp Club or host your own online workshop.

Happy stamping and creating!

Monthly Stamp Class Cards For June!

Hi Stampers!

As many of you know, I hold classes every month to teach you new techniques and project ideas with my "Cards of the Month!" I am SO excited about the June cards because we get to use some of the GREAT new items from this year's catalog that are fun and easy to use! I promise that you will LOVE them. These classes are taught in Azle and in my home (West Fort Worth). For my complete calendar of events click here .

This is the first card we will be making!

Even if you can't attend one of my classes, you can still learn how to make the card from my video! Simply purchase your supplies through my online store and create away!

Here is the second card for the month:
This card also uses the Betsy's Blossoms Stamp Set as well as the Wacky Wishes Stamp Set. Wacky Wishes is quickly becoming one of my favorites. And how precious is that bird?  The strips of paper along the bottom of the card are the new In Colors for 2012-2014!

I hope you enjoy it and as always,

Happy Stampin' and Creating!
