My calendar has been updated with all sorts of events from monthly stamp classes to demonstrator gatherings (guests are invited to check it out!) to Bingo! Be sure and check out all the events and RSVP for the ones you'd like to attend here:
https://christibeck.stampinup.net/

Bingo Stampin' Up! Style is one of my all-time favorite events to host. We eat snacks, play 7 rounds of Bingo, create fun make-n-take projects and all participants have the opportunity to win Stampin' Up! products! If you live in the DFW area, you'll want to join me for this fun event! We'll be playing Bingo in both February and March.

Monthly Stamp Classes
On the second Monday evening of each month, you're invited to join the stamping fun while we create 2 adorable cards together. You'll get to play with new products and stamp sets and try things out before you purchase. This event is FREE with your minimum order or $15 check or cash.

Here are some pictures of past projects we've created:

It's always a fun time stamping together each month!

Sale-a-Bration is still going strong! Exclusive FREE products await you when you purchase $50 or more. Check out the Sale-a-Bration brochure here.

More details can be found on my Online Store here.

I look forward to stamping with you at class or Bingo!

Look What We'll Be Making in September

How did September get here so quickly? It's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. It's one of my favorite times of the year - football games, cooler temperatures, leaves changing colors, Pumpkin Spice lattes and all the fall holidays!

This month we'll be creating some adorable cards in my monthly stamp classes. Each month we create 3 cards for FREE (with your minimum order). If you live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and you'd like to join the stamping fun at class, be sure to RSVP for the time you'll be attending.

The first card we'll be making features the Varied Vases bundle (stamp set with coordinating punch).

The second card features all new products from the Holiday Catalog (the Holiday Catalog begins tomorrow, September 5!). The Falling for Leaves stamp set is bundled with the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies for only $44 (item #149938). Save 10% when you purchase the bundle as compared with purchasing the items separately.

The third card we'll be creating also features new products you'll find in the Holiday Catalog - Making Christmas Bright stamp set bundled with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch ($35; item #149947). Isn't this card adorable?

I look forward to stamping and creating with you in September!

New Year with a New Focus: Cards for a Cause

Happy 2018 everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I'm so excited to share with you a new focus for me for 2018!

You all know that I love to stamp and create handmade cards - that's why I do what I do. However, I have not been sending them out as much as I would like. And, that's the best part about making the card in the first place! Knowing that someone is on the receiving end who might need a pick-me-up or just a little something to brighten their day is what it's all about.

So, for 2018, I'm starting a new event and focus for my card making called Cards for a Cause. I want to be more purposeful in not only making cards but donating them to different organizations to help spread a little bit of sunshine! Think of all the people who we could reach together!

Who would like to join me as we make handmade Cards for a Cause?

Friday, January 26
6:30 pm
My Home (west Ft. Worth area)

Here's how it works:
  • The idea is for all of us to gather together, make cards and then donate them to the chosen monthly organization / charity.
  • Participants can bring their own supplies to create their own cards OR use my supplies and instructions to make the card I'll be working on.
  • If you have a stash of cards at home already, you can bring and donate them as well.
  • There's no cost for this event. It's all about making and giving!
Be sure to join me for the first Cards for a Cause event on Friday, January 26th at 6:30. RSVP here.

Sale-a-Bration 2018 has begun! It's the biggest and best promotion of the year! For every $50 purchase (before shipping and tax), you choose a FREE exclusive Sale-a-Bration product. Plus, new this year: Earn even bigger rewards when you spend $100 (before shipping and tax). Just look for the $50 and $100 reward icons throughout the Sale-a-Bration brochure here.

I'm excited about this new year as we create for a cause together!

Monthly Stamp Class Featuring Jar of Love and Eastern Palace

During my monthly stamp class in May, we'll be featuring the Jar of Love stamp set and several products from the Eastern Palace suite

Currently the Jar of Love stamp set comes bundled with it's coordinating Everyday Jar Framelits and when you purchase the bundle, you'll save 10%. With the launch of the new catalog on June 1st, these products will no longer be bundled (they'll still be available for purchase but if they've been on your wish list for awhile, I'd recommend getting them while they're still bundled before the end of the month).

This stamp set is just adorable and it comes with many images you can use to fill the jar.

The next set of products we'll be playing with come from the Eastern Palace suite. There are two possible bundles of products you can choose through May 31st. Again, these products are bundled only through the end of the month and they include freebies!

  • Starter Bundle includes 7 different products with the Very Vanilla note cards and envelopes included for FREE!

  • The Premier Bundle includes 11 different products and includes the Very Vanilla note cards and envelopes and a package of the new Thick Very Vanilla card stock for FREE!

The images in the Eastern Palace stamp set are so much fun to play with to create a variety of designs.

In the card below, there is only stamped image used, the "hello" image. The embellishment in the middle was created with an Eastern Palace sticker included in the bundles. I put the sticker on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out using the coordinating framelit on the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

We'll us the new Very Vanilla note cards for this card and the center features a cut-out created using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits (all included in the Premier Bundle).

We're going to have a blast stamping and creating with these different bundles of products. Get your hands on them before the end of the month to save and receive FREE products!

Happy Stamping,

Look What We'll Be Making this Month Using Dragonfly Dreams

Every month we gather together to make some fun projects. This month we'll be creating the following cards using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating Framelits. We'll also make a third, bonus card (not pictured):

We'll be creating a washed background effect using an Aqua Painter and Wisteria Wonder ink. Simply pick up the color using the Aqua Painter and lightly brush it back and forth on the card stock. You'll want your brush just a little damp (the Aqua Painter tends to allow a lot of water to flow, so just be careful).

Join me to make these adorable cards!
Sunday, February 26 at 3 pm
Fort Worth
Cost for 3 cards: FREE with qualifying order or $10 check or cash

I've always loved yellow and black together and the gold bee on this card just really pops!

I hope you'll join me this month for some stamping fun!

Happy Stamping,

Monthly Stamp Classes

December is a great time to get a jump on making birthday cards that you can use the whole year through! During my monthly stamp classes in December, we'll be making the 2 cards below as well as a "bonus" project.

If you live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and want to come make these projects, be sure to RSVP for either the 10th or the 15th and join the fun!

Card #1:
We'll be using the Your Presents stamp set along with my all-time favorite sentiment stamp set, Sassy Salutations.

Card #2
I just couldn't resist "CASEing" Stamper Campers card this month for class. ("CASEing" means to Copy And Share Everything) I loved the idea of using the "negative" part of the leaf cutout to reveal the black designer paper from behind.

The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set.

I hope you'll join me in December as we work on birthday cards for the new year!

Happy Stamping,

Halloween, Fall and Christmas All in One Class

This month we'll be creating 3 adorable projects during my monthly stamp classes - a Halloween "Candy Corn" treat bag, a fall fun-fold card and a beautiful poinsettia Christmas card.

Halloween Candy Corn Treat Bag:
I originlly saw this cute candy corn color scheme on a bag during the Stampin' Up! convention back in July. When I saw it, I just knew I had to create it, too! And, it's easier than you think to add the color! All you need is a dauber (or sponge), ink (Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie) and a piece of scratch paper as a "mask".

  • Lay the mask down along the top edge of the paper and with the dauber, rub the Pumpkin Pie ink back and forth on the bag (make this strip about 2 inches wide).
  • Then place the guide over the Pumpkin Pie section and apply the Daffodil Delight ink the same way along the bottom section. Wipe off the excess ink from both sections using a paper towel.

Fall Fun-Fold Card:
I found this adorable card created by Chris Slogar and I just couldn't resist creating it for my class. (Thank you Chris for this adorable card!)

  • The front and back panels of this card are a standard card size (5.5" X 4 1/4"). The inside "z fold" piece measures 11" X 3.5" and it's scored on the 11" side at 2" and 6". The 2" piece adheres to the back of the front of the card. (I hope that's making sense. Please ask if you need any further help.)

Poinsettia Christmas Card:
This pretty Christmas card features the Reason for the Season stamp set from the 2015 Holiday Catalog. So elegant! I just love poinsettias and when I saw this set (with the coordinating Festive Flower Builder punch) I just knew I had to have it.

The corners of this card are also punched using the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

It's going to be a fun month of stamp classes! If you live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, feel free to come! Check out all my events with more details on my online calendar.

Happy Stamping,

Monthly Stamp Classes

September's stamp classes will be here before you know it!  All my classes are earlier this month because I will be heading off to St. George Utah in the middle of the month for the Founder's Circle retreat (squeal!!)  Founder's is a retreat for the top demonstrators in the US and Canada and I was honored to be among this small group!  To say that I'm excited is an understatement!  This is also the last time Stampin' Up! will be having a Founder's Circle retreat so I'm even more pumped that I was selected.

Anyway, all of that to say - mark your calendars and join me next week for a fun time creating!!  I will have class on Tuesday the 8th and Thursday the 10th from 7 pm until 9 pm in Ft. Worth.  Be sure to RSVP online so I can have enough supplies ready for everyone.

Even if you aren't local to me, you can get all sorts of fun project ideas on my Youtube Channel as well as through my email newsletter list (I send out project ideas complete with step-by-step instruction sheets!).

And, be sure to watch for my Stamp Factory class information - you can receive FREE cards just by placing an order.  In August, those who placed online orders (using a specific hostess code), received these 8 cards for FREE.

Here's what we'll be making in September:

Quick and Simple Stamp Factory Cards

Have I got some cute cards to share with you during August's Stamp Factory class!  You'll leave the Stamp Factory class with a total of 8 cards (4 each of both designs) complete with envelopes for FREE with your minimum order!  Be sure to RSVP if you plan on attending!

7 pm until 9 pm
Fort Worth
**If you are not local to me and would still like to have these 8 cards, simply place your order online of $40 or more and I'll mail them to you for FREE!  Here's how:

Card #1:

I am just loving the new Garden in Bloom stamp set.  There are so many great images that lend itself to tons of great combinations of flowers, leaves and butterflies!

Helpful Hint:
You might be looking at the card above and thinking that it sure looks like there is a lot of stamping going on.  Well, let me share with you a very helpful tip to save you time.
  • Place all the needed images on clear block E at the same time.  That way you can ink everything up one time with the Memento ink pad and then stamp once.  Here's a picture to help you visualize what I'm talking about:

 Easy peasy!

Below are just a few other examples using this amazing stamp set (we are not making these in class).  I've just included them to show the versatility.

Card #2:

The Definitely Dahlia background stamp is a must-have background!  So easy to use and very detailed!

Here's another quick and easy card idea using the Definitely Dahlia background (again, we're not making these in class).

I hope you'll plan on joining me in August for this month's Stamp Factory class!  Whether in person or choose to take the class "to go", you'll love this month's cards!

Happy Stamping,
