A Christmas Visit from Our Northern Friends

What a memorable Christmas it was this year!

My Christmas fun began with my friend Genevieve and her daughter Michelle from Canada coming to visit us in Texas. Genevieve and I had met several years ago at a Stampin' Up! Event. We became fast friends and when our daughters met at an event, they too became instant friends. (Now if only our entire families could meet, I know we'd all become life-long friends. We're working on getting everyone together.)

While they were here we had a blast doing all things Fort Worthian - eating biscuits and gravy, watching the Longhorns in the Stockyards, eating lots of Tex-Mex food, visiting with Santa in the park in 70 degree weather and even going to a TCU basketball game!

Yee-Haw!

Down in the Stockyards!

TCU just opened a brand new basketball coliseum. So fun to be there with Gen and Michelle at the first game in the new facility.

Had to make a stop at Old South Pancake House (a Fort Worth tradition)!

I'm so thankful for the blessing of great friends! We loved sharing Fort Worth with our forever friends!
