Father's Day Card Ideas

Father's Day is just around the corner and I thought I'd share a couple cards I've been working on - one for my dad and one for John's (my hubby) dad.

Let me start off with the golf card and see if you all can help me with something.  I asked John for his help coming up with a sentiment to go on the card and everything we came up with didn't seem to fit.  Why is it that a positive statement like "above par" or a negative statement such as "sub par" mean one thing when you're talking about golf and a completely different thing when you're talking about life?  But yet, I couldn't put on the card that you are "sub par" and have it taken as a compliment to his golfing ability.  See what I mean?

What other golf related sentiment do you think would work?  I'd love to hear your ideas.

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (sentiment "You're Above Par" created using My Digital Studio)
Paper:  Crumb Cake card stock, Pumpkin Pie card stock, Whisper White card stock, Old Olive card stock
Ink:  Soft Suede Classic Ink
Accessories:  Ovals Collection Framelits, Word Window Punch, Hole Punch

For the second card, I decided to play a little more with the Epic Day Washi Tape.  Love it!  It was so quick and easy!  What do you think?  I even added a little Washi Tape to the flap of the envelope.

Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper:  Crumb Cake card stock, Night of Navy card stock, Very Vanilla card stock
Ink:  Night of Navy Classic Ink
Accessories:  Epic Day Designer Washi Tape, Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die

Do you have your Father's Day card(s) ready to go?  Hopefully I've inspired you to create!
