Cindy's Simple and Embellished Card Samples

Friday night during our monthly demonstrator get-together, the ideas were plentiful and I feel so inspired!  Sharing with one one another on our creative journey and enjoying the process together is what it's all about!  And, our Stampin' Up! group, the Cowtown Crafters, does just that!  It's a group that is supportive, caring and excited to help one another!

Cindy shared two cards that are very similar but have a few slight differences.  Can you spot them?

Card #1:

Were you able to tell the differences?  In card #1, there is a scallop circle punched out of paper behind the stamped flower image.  In card #2, she used ribbon instead of the scallop circle and she also embossed the base of the card (see the little embossed dots?).  She embossed it with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (from the Sale-a-Bration brochure).

Isn't it fun to see how just a few simple changes can really "step up" a card?
