Always a Fun Time to Retreat

Stamping Retreat - doesn't that sound like a great way to escape?  Even though this past Saturday we only "retreated" for the day, it was well worth the escape away from my daily routine.  Our demonstrator group, the Cowtown Crafters, decided it was time to get together and spend the day crafting, stamping and creating.  (Would love for you to be a part of this amazing group, too!  Get all the details here.)

Cindie, Tammy and Lee are getting their craft on!  They think I'm funny because I keep taking pictures of everyone.  And, guess what?  I'm not in ONE picture!!  Didn't think about asking someone to take a picture with me in it.  Oh well!  :)

There were a total of 12 of us stamping!  Love the ideas and inspiration from this group!

What is a retreat without food? This was just the breakfast items!  We even had soup and salad from Olive Garden for lunch!

Here are just a few of the cute projects that were made.  When I got home, I realized that I hadn't taken pictures of all the completed projects that everyone was making (fooey!).

These cards and bag feature the adorable new English Garden Designer Series Paper.  Kim created these card bases with the idea in mind that all she'd have to do is simply add a sentiment and she'd have a card ready to go for any occasion.

Betty created this adorable card and box during the retreat.  Take a close look at the box project on the right.  The Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous!  Betty added the pop of yellow using her Daffodil Stampin' Write marker.  Easy way to add color!
