MOJO Monday 309 - Christmas and Thanksgiving Card Ideas

I am really loving this week's MOJO Monday sketch (sketch 309)!  I started off by making a get well card for Shelli Gardner using this sketch as my inspiration.  Then, I just got on a roll  and couldn't stop!  I then created a Christmas and Thanksgiving version, too!  What do you think?

Joyful Tidings Christmas Card

•  For the Christmas card version, I used the Polka Parade Designer Series Paper (for the two pieces of green polka dots) and just one small strip of paper for the banner from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper.
• The Christmas Messages stamp set has several sentiments that would work well for this card and it was hard to choose.  I finally decided on Joyful Tidings.  I punched out the sentiment using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock using the Window Frames Collection Framelits.

"Thankful For" Thanksgiving / Fall Card

• Isn't it amazing how one layout or design can look totally different when you change just the paper and/or stamp set?
• With this version, I used the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper and the Truly Grateful stamp set (both are from the amazing Holiday catalog).

 

• Again, I used the same 2 1/2" Circle Punch and the Window Frames Collection of Framelits for the center piece.
• I stamped two acorns in Soft Suede, cut them out and adhered them to the front.  Super simple and cute!
