Fall Leaves

When I saw this technique at convention on how to create these leaves, I knew I had to just give it a try!  It's actually pretty quick and easy to create!  I've been making little "clusters" of these leaves to put on card fronts and gift bags.

I've created a video to show you how easy they are to duplicate.

A Little Christmas from Convention 2012

In honor of the Christmas in July theme this month, I wanted to share some great Christmas projects from convention!

Bonnie Thurber shared some wonderful tips on how to maximize several products you'll see in the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  Do you have your copy?  Email me today and I'll get one to you.

Elf shoes - love it!

The Noel cards in the picture below will be in the Holiday catalog.  They come in a kit so they are quick and simple to put together.

Did you know that you can add a little color to the glimmer paper with ink and a sponge?  Too cool!

The Stocking Die is always a hit for Christmas!  Love these stockings and thought they'd make a great gift card holder.

Christmas Swaps Too!

Convention Bound - Part 2

This is my second card swap for convention.  I just love the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and was totally inspired by my friend's sweater to make this card!

Read the full story on how this card came about from a previous post

Convention 2012 Bound - Part 1

In the immortal words of Sponge Bob Squarepants....
"I'm Ready!!  I'm Ready!!  I'm Ready!!"

Ready for Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, that is!

Carol and I have been stamping, cutting and assembling over 100 swap cards for convention this year!  It's been several years since I've been to convention (due to health issues) and I'm more excited than ever to be going again.  So, I guess I got a little carried away when it came to making swap cards!

Be sure to check my blog every day this week as I will be posting pictures and sharing with you from convention!

This is my first swap card (my second design will be posted tomorrow) and it is so easily adaptable for any occasion!

My 4th of July version (which was chosen as a weekly favorite on Spiltcoaststampers.com!):

Meet My New Friend

SU! is her name (short for Stampin' Up!, of course).  For convention this year, Stampin' Up! challenged all attendees with a video commercial contest and this is what we came up with!  Can you tell who she's related to??

We had a blast creating several different commercials with SU! as our star!  One commercial has been submitted to Stampin' Up! - keep your fingers crossed that's it's a winner!  (I will post all the videos for you to watch soon!)

Not only did it take several demonstrators put the the commercials together, I even roped in my dear friends, Linda and Loyd, to help us.  Thank you both for willing to be crazy with the rest of us!  You guys are the best!!
