Gathering with Friends

Stamping with friends - what could be better? This was the first class of the new year and I was so excited to get back in the swing of things.

It was a houseful but there was plenty of room for everyone to make some fun cards!

Even my daughter and her friend joined us in the stamping fun. I love how they changed their cards to make it their own.

Every month I offer several different opportunities for stamping. Check out my online calendar and if you are in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, I'd love for you to join in the stamping fun!

Happy Stamping,

Stamp Factory Cards for October

Every month I offer what I call a "Stamp Factory" class. We create a total of 8 cards - 4 each of 2 designs. Whenever you're stamping multiple cards like this, it's like having an assembly line of cards to stamp and make.

Card #1
This card features the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper and the Greetings Thinlits dies.  Just add a "pop" of color to the designer paper using ink and a dauber (I used Blushing Bride on this card).

Card #2
Snowflakes and Christmas!  This card showcases the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and the coordinating Snow Flurry Punch.  I used Night of Navy card stock and ink for this quick and easy card.  Use a touch of white ribbon from the Gold and White ribbon combo pack behind the snowflakes.

I'm really excited about this months cards! Both are simple and elegant!

If you live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and would like to attend, be sure to RSVP so I can be sure to have enough supplies prepared for everyone (contact me for exact location).

Happy stamping and creating!

Halloween Boo Card and Give Thanks Fall Card

More fun projects await at Stamp Factory this month!  Stamp Factory is all about quick and simple! I don't know about you, but I'm a busy mom always in need of lots of cards in a hurry.  That's where Stamp Factory comes in!  In one evening, we create 8 cards - 4 each of 2 designs - complete with envelopes, too, for FREE (with a minimum order)!

Here's what we'll be creating on Monday, September 14th.  Even if you aren't local to me, you still have an opportunity to receive these cards for FREE!  Keep reading below to find out how.

Halloween "BOO" Card:

Let's play with the new Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape, the new Boo to You Framelits (to make the word BOO) and the new Black Glimmer Paper!  Great group of products for Halloween!

Give Thanks Card:

This quick and simple card uses the new Thankful Forest Friends stamp set along with the new Into the Woods Designer Series Paper for a great fall card!

This card is a great paper saver, too!  Notice the designer paper with the acorns and leaves on it?  It's actually 2 pieces of 2" square paper placed to the right and left on the white card stock.  There isn't any designer paper under the doily!  The doily covers that up so you can maximize your paper.  (The white background piece measures 2 1/4" X 5.5".)

Want to receive these cards for FREE?  Here's how:

Please let me know if you have any questions!  Happy Stamping!

Quick and Simple Stamp Factory Cards

Have I got some cute cards to share with you during August's Stamp Factory class!  You'll leave the Stamp Factory class with a total of 8 cards (4 each of both designs) complete with envelopes for FREE with your minimum order!  Be sure to RSVP if you plan on attending!

7 pm until 9 pm
Fort Worth
**If you are not local to me and would still like to have these 8 cards, simply place your order online of $40 or more and I'll mail them to you for FREE!  Here's how:

Card #1:

I am just loving the new Garden in Bloom stamp set.  There are so many great images that lend itself to tons of great combinations of flowers, leaves and butterflies!

Helpful Hint:
You might be looking at the card above and thinking that it sure looks like there is a lot of stamping going on.  Well, let me share with you a very helpful tip to save you time.
  • Place all the needed images on clear block E at the same time.  That way you can ink everything up one time with the Memento ink pad and then stamp once.  Here's a picture to help you visualize what I'm talking about:

 Easy peasy!

Below are just a few other examples using this amazing stamp set (we are not making these in class).  I've just included them to show the versatility.

Card #2:

The Definitely Dahlia background stamp is a must-have background!  So easy to use and very detailed!

Here's another quick and easy card idea using the Definitely Dahlia background (again, we're not making these in class).
