Gathering with Friends

Stamping with friends - what could be better? This was the first class of the new year and I was so excited to get back in the swing of things.

It was a houseful but there was plenty of room for everyone to make some fun cards!

Even my daughter and her friend joined us in the stamping fun. I love how they changed their cards to make it their own.

Every month I offer several different opportunities for stamping. Check out my online calendar and if you are in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, I'd love for you to join in the stamping fun!

A New Way to Stamp - In the Dark!

They say that "there's a first time for everything" and boy was that true for last night's stamp class! The evening started out as any other - guests arrived, I went over the projects we'd be making and everyone got to work. About an hour into the class, I had walked to my stamp room to grab something and suddenly everything went black! All the electricity in the house had gone out!

Luckily I had my phone on me and used it as a flashlight to get back to the front of the house to where everyone was stamping. Along the way I grabbed flashlights and I half expected everyone to say, "Well, I guess we'll have to finish another time." Not one person even hinted that they were leaving.  They, too pulled out their phones and pocket flashlights and continued on stamping and helping each other. It was SO much fun!!

Just take a look at the ladies - everyone had a great time, finished their projects and, boy, did we laugh!

Of course the night wouldn't have been complete without some teasing - "How could I expect my friends to stamp under these conditions?" or "I think we should be given a credit on our order for the physical hardship of the evening." I love that about my friends - we can laugh, tease and joke together!

What a memorable evening!!

Nancy's phone even had a little flip stand on it so the light could be aimed at just the right direction for her to create her cards. What a handy little case!

In my 9 plus years of stamping, I don't think I've ever had to stamp in the dark. And, I am so glad we did! Between the laughter, teasing and helping one another to finish the projects, this night will go down in my history of stamping as one of the best!

November Stamp Factory

We had a great time this past week during the Stamp Factory class!  In the Stamp Factory classes, we create 8 cards - 4 each of 2 designs.  It's a a great way to get a lot of cards made in one evening!  We'll be doing another Stamp Factory class in December so RSVP today to reserve your spot!

Concentrating on stamping!

We always have a great time stamping together!  Whether it's during Stamp Factory, the monthly stamp classes or the demonstrator gatherings (guests are welcome!), you'll always learn new techniques, have a fun night out with friends, and leave with cards and projects ready to send to your friends and family!  I look forward to stamping with you soon!

Stamping Good Time with Friends

Some things are just better when they are shared with friends - cookies, coffee, a good movie, a laugh - and I think stamping should be on that list as well!

It's fine to create by yourself but it's so much more fun when you're with friends!  January started off strong with my first stamp class of the year reaching 16 people!  (That was a record for me to have that many ladies in my home!)

Another new record was just set during my class this month in Azle, Texas - 18!

Everyone's busy stamping and creating!

With a group this size, we needed 2 Big Shots and 1 Texture Boutique so everyone could get their projects complete in a timely manner.

If you don't have a stamping group in your area, why not start one?  Grab a few friends (and have them invite friends) and before you know it, you're sharing what you love with others! 

I have said it many times and I think it's worth repeating:
  "Friends don't live friends stamp alone!"
